We have one Birth Sling available for hire. The Sling was designed to encourage and support upright labour positions, enabling mums to be active or for upright periods of rest.

Hire includes:

Birth sling hire for 5 weeks (37-42 weeks)

* 2 arm slings

* 1 door anchor

* 1 carry bag

Contraindications for use of birth slings, include ruptured membranes without engagement of baby’s head in pelvis, unstable blood pressure or balance or any condition requiring bedrest.

It is recommended that anyone using the birth sling must have a steady gait, able to call for assistance if needed and be able to support themselves without assistance.
